Whipped up strips

I used to roll my eyes at people who said they “just whipped up a quilt top over the weekend,” but that’s exactly what I did with some fabric from my stash. I used Cluck Cluck Sew’s strip and flip tutorial to make this girly quilt in just one nap session on Saturday plus an hour this morning. I think I love it.

Edited to add: I had no intention of sounding so cocky! I was just so excited at how quickly this came together. It’s really a great design for something that is quick, modern and striking. I was also so excited that I managed to make a whole front and back with fabric from my closet. I’m going to need to dig into the stash a little bit more in the coming weeks and this was excellent motivation.

I still haven’t figured out how to quilt it. Maybe a straight line grid? Parallel lines? Or should I bust out the free motion and try a new design?
